Job Description
- Admission Specialist must welcome Visitors.
- Communicate with parents on admission requirements, policies, procedures, and related issues.
- Guide school applicants through the application and admission process.
- Perform data entry of admission applications and general student information.
- Maintain a database of student information, telephone logs and student feedbacks.
- Compile a variety of information from both manual and computerized records.
- Organize and maintain various departmental files and records.
- Maintain knowledge of all programs and resources.
- Distribute admission materials.
- Provide clarifications to visitors’ queries in a professional manner.
- Receive and evaluate transcripts, test score reports and other educational records.
- Perform related or similar duties as required or assigned.
Job Requirements
- Excellent computer proficiency (Ms office-Word, Excel and outlook).
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing clearly and concisely.
- Ability to take care of the customers’ needs while following institutional procedures.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- To follow the school policies and procedures.
- Meet staff members to work collaboratively.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (Preferably bilingual English & French)
- Attainment of University/College Degree – A must
- Strong background in the educational/customer service field – preferable.
- A hard worker that is capable of multitasking and dealing with work under pressure.
- Effective administrative skills, including the ability to organize and prioritize own workload in order to meet tight deadlines, whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
