SCHOOL VISIT

We look forward to welcoming you to LIS. During your first visit we will:

Introduce Liverpool International School of - LIS.
Discuss your child’s educational needs and suitability for our school and curriculum.
Answer any specific questions you may have regarding the admission's procedure, our curriculum, school routines and timetables, after school activities, transport, etc.
Meet any personnel who can answer your specific questions.

APPLICATION

When you are ready to apply for a place for your child at LIS, we will require a completed Application Form.

The following steps will be necessary:

Online Application: Complete the Online Application Form then our Admissions Officer will contact you through email or phone to give you further details about the completion of the process.
Application Form at the Front Desk: Fill in the Application Form (for any assistance the Front Desk and the Admissions persons in charge may always help you). Afterwards, the admissions Officer will then schedule an assessment appointment for your child / children and a first parents interview (both parents).

ASSESSMENT

Upon receiving the Application Form, we will provide you with a date for the formal assessment and organize a meeting with the Principal.

We assess all students’ cognitive and academic abilities in order to ensure that our school is right for your child and that your child will achieve their maximum potential whilst at our school. There will be a meeting with the parents same day or other scheduled date.
FS students will be assessed as per child stage development according to their age, as well. They will be assessed in English language development, fine and gross motor skills, social skills and behaviour.
Older students will be assessed in Math and English (Reading Comprehension, Writing and Speaking skills).
An official email will be sent to inform the parents about their child / children’s status within 7 working days.

ACCEPTANCE

On condition that there is a place available for your child and that they have met both the admissions’ criteria and passed the assessment and the meeting with the School Principal, we will provide an official offer for your child.

In the event that the student is eligible to join LIS, parents will be informed of further details regarding payment and deadline to provide the following documents:

A Completed Application Form.
A copy of your child’s birth certificate.
A copy of your child’s passport or ID “if issued”
8 passport size photographs of the student.
2 passport size photos of each parent.
A copy of the parents / guardian(s) ID or passport(s).
Copies of your child’s last two school reports.
A copy of your child’s Behaviour Report from the last school he attended.
A copy of your child’s immunization record.
