Job Description
- Academic Coordinator must Work collaboratively with the staff members to guide, direct and facilitate the development of the whole school.
- Manages the organization, operations, facilities, and resources of the department.
- Develops and administers policies that provide a secured school environment ready for learning.
- Ties the daily operations of the school to school and student learning goals.
- Plans and schedules work so that resources are used appropriately, and short- and long-term priorities and goals are met.
- Works closely with the Head of departments to facilitate resources for the program requirements.
- In collaboration with the leadership team, identify academic priorities, set measurable goals to achieve priorities and monitor progress towards goals.
- Ensure that teacher’s professional development goals are being met through direct, targeted coaching
- Implement school-wide procedures and policies to ensure student safety.
Job Requirements
- May be required to have American, IG & IB certificates.
- Holds a valid teaching degree
- Master’s Degree in Education is preferable
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a successful leader in instruction, curriculum and assessment
- Basic technological / computer skills
- At least E-Learning Education
- Outstanding content knowledge in Key stages 1, 2 and 3
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (Preferably bilingual in English & French)
