Music Teacher

Job Description 

• Music Teacher must have excellent interpersonal skills with both adults and children.
• Willingness and ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to prioritise and organise own work.
• Ability to work effectively to a high standard, on occasion, under pressure, meeting deadlines.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills; high attention to detail
• Proactive and willingness to take on multiple tasks
• Must be a team player, willing to help and be flexible
• Building relationships and mentoring students.

Job Requirements 

• A Bachelor degree in music education is a must.
• Minimum 3 years of experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (Preferably bilingual English & French)
• Should play at least one instrument with a high level of proficiency.
• Ability to teach in more than one Key Stage an advantage.
• Teaching general styles of music. 
• Support school music events is a must.
